The story:
I heard this song on the radio as a kid when it first came out. At the time I didn't know what the song was called who who sang it, but I interpreted it as a first person narrative of an Indian brave going on a vision quest. It wan't until I reached my adult years and I was trying to look up the lyrics to this song on the Internet that I realized it wasn't about an Indian at all
