Now bring us some friggin' pudding
My 6 year-old grandnephew was singing the second verse of "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" in the back seat of my brother's car and the child honestly thought those were the words to the song.

The part in the audio recording where they say "Now you kids be good and we'll bring you some friggin pudding" is so hilarious!

Addition to my last comment...Actually I thought "bring us some friggin' pudding" meant, hurry up, we are hungry, want some pudding!

I really thought this was the correct lyrics for years (didn't think it was odd to sing "friggin pudding" for a christmas carol so never bothered to look up what they were, until I came across this!

That sounds like something a kid would say, because really, what kid wants figgy pudding?

My kids are military brats and, unfortunately, exposed to all kinds of colorful language. When My youngest was about 3, her version was "Now bring us some f*#@ing pudding". I was mortified when she belted that out for the first time!

I can't figure out what's funnier, the misheard lyric or the image of a 6-year-old singing "bring us some friggin' pudding."

I really thought these were the lyrics when I was a kid. I was afraid to sing it, because we were not allowed to curse.
