Makes enough sense to me. I mean, that's where the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame is and stuff.

Huey Lewis wrote this song after performing to a great crowd in Cleveland, and the original line actually was "the heart of rock & roll is in Cleveland." But his bandmates thought he was crazy to have that be part of the chorus, so he changed it. Cleveland now gets a mention at the end of the song.
