The story:

I never knew the words, but as I lay in bed deep in a bizarre dream involving some sort of Price is Right type game show which was actually a religious sermon in some satanic church where they sang Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, (my alarm radio actually playing it), I awoke with the words ringing in my ears.
I learned the real words a few days later when I managed to get a copy of the song.
