This was actually misheard by my wife. We were singing along in the car on a long road trip. She was very insistent that her version was right. So much so that we stopped at every truckstop for over 100 miles to see if they had the tape in the discount bin so we could check the lyrics in the liner notes. When I proved to her that I was right she did not talk to me for another 200 miles.
