Eddie are you okay, you okay, you okay Eddie?

The story:

Actually I wasn't the one who misheard them. What happened is we were sitting in the food court at the mall when the song came on. We dared my friend to get up and start singing it and when it came to the chorus he started singing "Eddie are you okay?" some people near by started laughing and we pulled him aside and told him what the chorus was really saying. He was embarassed because he sang it at the top of his voice and never realized what it was saying. When he thought about the rest of the song he said "I guess it doesn't make sense to be talking about a girl in the song and then in the chorus asking a guy if he's okay." Now he sings the right lyrics just in case we ever dare him to do that again.
