The story:

You could probably do a whole website on misheard Eddie Vedder lyrics. Anyway, I realized I was wrong when my friend/boss at the radio station where I worked at the time heard me say that on the air and came in after and told me what he was really saying. I wanted to crawl under a rock. I told him I guess I thought he was saying that because there was a gun in the video and I thought he shot himself. I'm just glad most people aren't paying attention to half of what we're saying.
