A female friend of my girl friend at the time told us the story.
Her an a few other college friends were on a road trip. This song came on the radio and the all started singing. After two runs threw chorus, they realized that one on them had the words wrong. They stop and listen to the girl on the last chorus... Everyone started laughing ... the driver had to pull over so as not to get into an accident. Once the pulled themselves together, they corrected her.
