    One of my best buds in the Navy (JOC Furry)thought these were the correct lyrics to the song. Must have been caused by growing up in small Texas towns during the 70's and 80's. You couldn't top a suped up Nova for a ride back then I guess. I'm sure the members of Oasis had lots of exposure to Chevy Novas in jolly old England...
