I always kind of knew it COULDN'T be "I heard your suitcase say goodbye" because, well, that didn't make sense and Bon Jovi has never been one for complicated or elliptical lyrics, but I didn't know just what it really want until I finally got a chance to look it up on the Internet a while back.
