Watching George Michael perform this song at a televised concert, with the huge crowd chanting along, it was difficult to make out the exact lyrics. I said in my childish priggishness, 'It sounds like they're singing...' but soon realised I was very wrong. Poddington Peas is an obscure early 90s cartoon series about a group of peas - very out-of-place in a Queen song.
