The story:

I kept wondering why she thoght it would be so awful if her boyfriend refused to ever fly to Vegas, but figured it meant that he would never agree to marry her. It didn't fit with the rest of the lyrics, but it made a certain perverse sense. Then, one day, after downloading the song on my Ipod Nano, I was sitting at the computer listening to it in my headphones when I decided to look up the lyrics online. I was chagrined and smiled to myself at my stupidity, but honestly, I don't think the real lyrics make much more sense.
