I learned the real lyrics whenever I was reading another entry on this site. I went to a Beatles lyric site that I like to visit constantly to make certain "my lyrics" were wrong...I found out that I was...

I'm glad that no else was around to find out that I was wrong. Some of my friends think of me as being an expert of the Beatles. In all reality, I don't know as much junk as some of those other enthuiasts, but I know more little factoids about the Beatles than the common Joe. I thought that they trying to say that they were so happy that they were as "high as kites." (No, not the other kind of high...Considering that this is an earlier song by the Beatles, that wouldn't make much sense. *snicker*) I just can't believe that I've been wrong all of this time...I keep thinking that I've heard Mom singing those lyrics...and it stuck for all of these years...
