I was riding in the car with my girlfriend's then 17-year-ld daughter when the song came on. My own daughter was fifteen at the time and really liked the song. I had heard it quite a few time prior to this and was trying to understand the connection between a genie and a rodeo so after the song was over I said to my girlfriend's daughter"Yeah, that's real bright, you gotta rope me to ride me. What the hell does that mean?" That's when she burst out laughing and said "It's rub me the right way, you moron!" And I call myself a DJ!
