The story:

I was a freshmen in high school and I was part of the band. Apparently, it was a tradition to sing this song at some point during all the events. Well, I thought that I would impress everyone by being the only freshmen who knew the words, so I sang very loudly at this point. The next thing I know, everyone's staring at me, and the music teacher is laughing his head off.... He still won't let me forget what happened and tells all the new freshmen about it whenever this song is played for the first time each year.
