The story:

I was 17 and a senior in high school, and every day I sat next to my buddy Joe on the bus. One morning near Christmas, I sat down and he was singing these lyrics. Since I couldn't even remotely figure out what the song was supposed to be, I asked him what song it was. He said, "you know, that christmas song they play on the radio". I still didn't understand what he was saying, so he actually wrote it on a piece of paper for me to read. Then when he said, "you know, the spanish guy sings it", it clicked, and I laughed harder than I have ever laughed in my life. Everyone on the bus was laughing by the time we got to school, and now, 20 years after graduation, we still tease Joe about his creative interpretation.........
