    I was riding in my best friends car and he was playing the song when i started singing these lyrics and he just started laughing at me. I couldn't figure out why until he showed me the error of my lyrics. I just thought the song was about a forgetfull guy named jed who left lights on and didn't want to go to to far away from them?
