The story:

i was singing it in the car with my husband and he
turned to me and asked "what did you just say?" i
said " i don't know what did you hear?" so then he
told me the real lyrics and everytime the song
comes on the radio he askes me what i said the first
time. i still won't tell him that i thought it was some
ephereal reference to some tribe's right of passage
into womanhood. how embarrassing!
