The story:

It mostly made sense--I assumed there was something in their past they had to work out. However, I couldn't imagine how suspicious minds would be a good foundation for freedom.
So when I heard this song in Lilo & Stitch, I asked my dad. He knows the lyrics to everything, so needless to say he thought this was pretty amusing.
Conclusion: Elvis needs to enunciate. Also, who rhymes "suspicious minds" with "suspicious minds"?
