The story:

Well, I never had an actual embarrassing moment of
singing it out loud, I just remember my first time
hearing the song it really sounded like "rear" to
me...but being a new fan of Pink Floyd, even at the
age of 13, I knew there was just no way they were
saying rear. Years later I remember this old website
"KissThisGuy" about funny misheard lyrics and well
here we are now!
