The first time I heard this song was on TV in an ad for a Rolling Stones CD, and all they showed was Mick Jagger singing "Angie, Angie" - because of the way he pronounces it "an-jeh" I just thought he was slurring the word "Angel" and leaving off the L. The first time I found out it was really "Angie" was when I found it on my dad's iPod.
