The story:

My friend owned the album and we were listening to it. I told her how stupid I thought it was because I didn't get how a river could take you over and she looked at me like I was a garden slug or something. In a very pained voice she told me the real lyrics. The worst part, though, was that she told me we'd had the same conversation about two months before!
