Well, when I first heard it on the radio, I thought "Damn, how could a song like this be played on the radio?... I mean, usually they sensor songs such as this..." Then I heard it on Rick Dees; he said bailamos actually means "when we dance." I wasn't embarassed or anything, but I was kinda disappointed to learn that it wasn't what I thought it was... me and my brother still sing it MY way though.
