The story:

I was singing along with the car radio, with two other people. They didn't notice that I was singing the wrong lyrics, but then I said "Well, that explains WHY they're unreliable."

"What?"

"The fine fresh beers on tap!"

"Ummm, what?"

Took about five minutes to explain what I had heard, and both people knew the real lyrics, and explained them too me as if I was not very bright!
