Being a whiteboy watching Yo MTV Raps in elementary/middleschool and then being the whitest teenager at the housing projects probably caused me to see the world in a warped way. I mean, I always thought it was strange/awkward for some classic rock lady to scream "Cmon Homegirl!" in a song. Then as I grew up, got a little smarter and self-aware(and better at placing commas) I realized it was me who was strange and awkward...
