I heard the song on MTV and fell in love with it, but it took a while before bought the album and discovered the true lyrics. It had never occured to me that i might ahve misheard them.
I mean - i love Beatles, and i know they could really have whacky lyrics (i am the walrus, etc) so why could not radiohead sing about a former greyhound? Maybe it was a special expression in english, like "raining cats and dogs" ? What do i know? i am just a swede!
The funniest thing is that i used the name "former greyhound" as a "handle" on different chat-sites at that time!
