Thankfully, I never sang this out loud. But i have heard this song about the dancing fleas for years, so I thought it to be an odd selection to be played at my sister-in-law's wedding.
Fourteen years later, for some unknown reason, it popped into my head while driving in my car that I had grossly misheard these lyrics.
I think I was putting them in the same category at The Ecstacy of Dancing Fleas by the Penguin Cafe Orchestra.
I just thought that dancing fleas was a popular musical allegory.
