Luckily it didn't take me *years* or even months or weeks to
realize my lyrics were wrong. It just took until the end of the
song, at which point the DJ on the radio announced the name
of the song. I was actually very thankful since I had spent the
past several minutes wracking my brain trying to visualize an
image in which someone dressed like a garden gnome was
getting knocked down for some unknown reason! I have
shared my awesome lyrics with friends and now ONLY sing
the song with said awesome lyrics.
