I was at an Audi dealership, checking out an A6 and singing the misheard lyric to myself. Salesman heard me and started cracking up. After a bit of discussion it finally dawned on me how unlikely it would have been for John Fogerty to reference a European sedan in one of his swamp-rock ballads.
