I was with a buddy of mine when this
song came on & we were jamming in the car.
I was putting so much feeling into it until
my buddy turned down the music drastically
and said "wait, what did you just say?" I
responded "everybody wants a New York man"
and he just busted out laughing, told me to
shut up and listen as he sang along with the
proper lyrics. I still haven't been able to
live it down till today. My buddy
mentioned here misheard the lyrics for
Mony, Mony. But, that's for another time.
