As an adolescent, this was a revelation I could relate to- Oh, GOD,I´m a woman! That´s why she wants to go to funkytown- get some hairspray, nail polish, etc, ´cause she´s a woman. My sister heard me singing it in the car, where else. Sometimes I still have to think, what are the real lyrics again?
