Arguing the point with my girlfriend, sometime in my mid-forties
(was a high-school senior when I first heard the song). Utterly
convinced my version was correct, until she showed me the
written-out lyrics. Flabbergasted beyond speech to realize my
logical version (who hasn't heard of the USC Trojan football team?)
was dead wrong.
