    In the mid-1970's, the car repair company MAACO was just getting started in the Midwest, and I wasn't any too sure what the correct spelling or pronunciation of the company's name was. When this song came out, I somehow managed to convince myself it was part of a subliminal advertising campaign for the car repair shops. Believe it or not, there were no drugs involved.
