Me and a friend of mine couldn't figure out the lyrics and, of course, there was no internet back then, back when the song had just come out. So we made up these lyrics and would sing them at the top of our lungs. Even into my 20s, I would sing these lines when I heard this song. I still had no idea what the real lyrics were until I found this site and decided that I should submit them.
