The story:

I have no clue why I thought cheese. The song's about a couple that's pretty much broke, and he can't get her fancy things, but she doesn't care. And some cheeses are pretty expensive, aren't they?

Well, it made sense to me. I asked Dad what the words were, and I swear he say "I don't need the cheese". However, the music was too loud and I didn't hear him correctly. Yup, he said "I don't need the G's."
