The story:

I was actually by myself thinking about how much I love Prince and
looking up all the lyrics to his songs. But I tell people about it
every chance I get. BUT "car" makes more sense than "collar"
because the song is comparing someone to a corvette, and also I
don't like the trend of popped collars that is sweeping the nation,
so I guess Prince's version is better.
