The song came on the radio, and I was only a little sure of my self on this lyric. "Dull surprise" always cracked me up, reminding me of torpedos of love or one eyed wiggling wonder, which fits the theme of lovin' in the song.
Hubby then said he always heard the lyrics as "I'll give you my dose of pride".
Considering we've heard this song a few times a month for nearly our entire lives, I think it's funny that we both misheard it!
