I still don't have the pizza and you don't have the time

The story:

My family was coming home from the Festival of Trees (we live
in Utah) and it was December at the time, and on the way
home, Makes me Wonder came on the radio. I started singing
along, and at the point where I said that, my parents started
laughing hysterically. I stopped and asked, "What's so funny?"
And my dad said, "Did you just say you didn't have the
PIZZA?" And I said, "Yeah. Isn't that what it says?" And my
mom said, "No, Kaleb, he doesn't say pizza." I was a little
surprised, because it always sounded like Adam said pizza,
though I wasn't sure why. But now I say pizza because it
sounds funnier. xD
