The story:

I was in the car with my friend Val, who also thought these were the lyrics, and this song came on at which point we proceeded to sing our version loudly. Her brother and his friend who were also there, began to laugh, so we looked up the lyrics just to prove them wrong since we INSISTED those were the lyrics. Turns out, we were wrong. But we still sing it that way and always will.
