The story:

My first thought was that he doesn't know how to spell (so who is the real moron)? I thought he was saying that morons make him wealthy, referring to people who bought his album. I agreed at the time that anybody who did was, in fact, a moron. But it might not be a good idea to call people names if they are helping to make you wealthy.
