Since Ifirst heard it I had it right with "moving-in" but that sounded a little presumptuous for a guy trying to get a date, coming out of left field from the past.
Running through thousands of verbs I came up with "re-living or re-livin", as in talking about old times, and that just fit perfectly. Especially if he really is planning on moving in. Much less disarming.
