I first heard this song when I was 7 or 8, and even owned the 45.
Didn't dawn on me that a current Top 40 artist would be singing
lyrics in Olde English.
I overheard a friend of mine a few years ago singing along to it
in the car and my brain exploded. It's like my whole life has been
a lie! He laughed his ass off when I told him my version.
