Years ago when I first heard the song "Shameless" by Garth Brooks on a jukebox, I thought he was singing; "I'm SHAVING!"
I said out-loud, "Shaving?? What a stupid subject to write a song about! Who cares? They sure are getting hard up for song material."
People in the bar pointed out to me that it wasn't about shaving, and I was pretty much a retard for thinking it was.
I felt pretty stupid after that. But to this day, whenever one of my friends hears that song they sing "I'm shaving!" everytime Garth sings the chorus.
