The story:

Again, this is one of the first Bee Gees songs I ever heard. I saw them sing it on "One Night Only" and for about a hundred times listening to it, I swore Maurice was saying "I'm the boy who likes to sing" so I thought, oh cool, they have a song about being singers. Then about 2 years later, I saw the real lyrics and felt like the biggest idiot on the planet, because I had read somewhere else when I first heard it, that song was written for his wife!
