My sister was showing me this song when her album first came out. When it got to this part, I paused it and asked "Why is she calling herself a man?". My sister started laughing so hard and explained to me the real lyrics. To this day I still sing it that way and still think that it sounds like she's calling herself a man. Seriously, listen to the song and you'll hear it.
