The story:

I've only just now figured out that it's "higher now". I've always thought it "iron eye" and that I've been mishearing as "iodine", but an online search tells me that people are hearing "I and I", too, which makes no sense (as opposed to, say, "a mole / diggin' in a hole / diggin' up my soul"). Go figure.
