I figured that Acurin Tablets were some kind of name brand pain killer in England, since I had never heard of them until Elton sang about them in this song. Made perfect sense to me! I mentioned something to my brother about the Acurin tablet lyrics, and he found it quite amusing, as usual. That's when I realized that Elton's English accent must have thrown me a curve ball.
