It's a green light, when you've already breaked

The story:

I've always sung it that way, and am a big fan of Alanis so I listen to
her all the time. One day I was listening to Ironic in the car with my
Sister and Dad, and was belting it out like no other. Right after the
'already breaked...', my Dad looked at me all crazy and tried to
convince me that's not what she said. Of course, I didn't believe
him until I got home and looked it up online...
