I had already known what the actual lyrics were
to this song since I had heard the original
sung by Rod Stewart on the 1998 Patch Adams
movie, but I couldn't quite figure why I kept
hearing this version wrong.
I initially thought they changed a word or two,
so they could use it as a Star Trek song.
However I realised the flaw in my logic when I
realised that "ertram" wasn't a real word and
that they didn't change the song, just who sung
it.
