The story:

i actually didn't hear them wrong, it was my friend who we call wicki. i had my no doubt cd in my portable player and she started listening to it, and since we go to a school where a lot of people use slang, she mistook 'ribbon' ofr 'ribbing', as in dissing, making fun of, however you want to put it. it haunts her to this day. some may not find it completely hysterical, but it's better than what my bud alex came up with; for everyone's sake i won't bring that one up.
